AKMU – Akademia Multidisiplinore is pleased to announce the launch of an Amigurumi Workshop the Arti & Mestieri project, a creative initiative designed to promote craftsmanship, inclusion, and the development of practical skills.
The workshop, is dedicated to women and girls, offering them the opportunity to explore the art of amigurumi — the Japanese technique of crocheting small handmade figures. Through this experience, participants will develop creativity, manual skills, and confidence, while engaging in a collaborative and inspiring environment.
As part of a broader commitment to preserving and revitalizing traditional crafts, the initiative encourages learning through practice, fostering both personal growth and social inclusion. Activities will focus on the creation of unique handmade pieces, combining technique with imagination.
The workshop will be guided by experienced instructor
Filomena Esposito, known for her distinctive handmade creations and her work through the lafilo_handmade channel.
This activity is developed in parallel with the second phase of Module 2 of the Arti & Mestieri project, focused on weaving and model creation, further strengthening the project’s mission to empower participants through artisanal knowledge.
